Bin Cao is a Postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Data and Search Informatics (DSI) at Indiana University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2006 from the University of Louisville. She also holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and B.E. in Computer Engineering from the Southeast University (China). Her major research area is query processing and optimization in database systems. Her research interests also include query languages, data models, distributed query processing, and data provenance. She is an ACM Professional Member.
