OSL Director Andrew Lumsdaine traveled to the Lawrence Livermore National Lab in California for a kick-off grant meeting for his recently rewarded DOE grant, "Compiled MPI: Cost-Effective Exascale Application Development." Collaborators on the project include Torsten Hoefler (UIUC), Dan Quinlan and Greg Bronevetsky (LLNL). OSL will receive $165,000 over the next three years.
