Undergrads: We have some very high-end technology, and we'll let you use it
You don't have to be a grad student to use the Big Red II supercomputer, Data Capacitor II high-performance storage, Science on a Sphere, virtual reality theaters, or IQ-wall ultra-high resolution displays. (All of which, by the way, make up some of the most sophisticated cyberinfrastructure in higher education -- so seriously, take advantage. This stuff isn't available just anywhere.)
But you do need to apply for accounts first. Act fast! The deadline for spring applications is November 30.

Mapping Science after 100 maps and 10 years
While traditional geographic maps chart known territory, "science maps," according to the Places & Spaces web site, "serve as visual interfaces to immense amounts of data, depicting myriad objects in ways that allow us to effectively discern apparent outliers, clusters, and trends."
Coordinated from IU's Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center, which is directed by Katy Börner, annual iterations of the collection have been displayed at more than 250 venues in 23 countries and on six continents.
