For researchers who need to analyze big data the IU-based XSEDE Campus Bridging team makes it easier to connect to the national cyberinfrastructure. The XSEDE Compatible Basic Cluster (XCBC) software suite lets local campuses create a high performance computing (HPC) cluster from scratch.

Brad Wheeler honored as CTO of the Year

IU Vice President for Information Technology and CIO Brad Wheeler was named a 2015 winner of the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) and TechPoint CTO of the Year Award. The award goes to top chief technology officers who play "vital roles in making Indiana businesses, institutions and not-for-profit groups successful."
